Crested Butte is located at the northern end of the Gunnison Valley, 230 miles southwest of Denver.
By Air
There are daily, year-round flights on United/United Express Airlines from Denver to Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC).
In the winter, American Airlines have a daily flight from Dallas Fort Worth and additional weekend flights.
Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport is 30 miles from Mt. Crested Butte.

Ground Transportation
Alpine Express provides door-to-door shuttle service from both Gunnison and Montrose, (or even from as far a field as Denver & Colorado Springs!) Their fleet of vehicles range from 10-passenger vans to 50-passenger coaches and they can also provide baggage handling and limousine services. Reserving a private shuttle enables you to complete your grocery shopping in the larger stores in Gunnison before heading up to Crested Butte.

Mountain Express is a free year-round bus service running between the town of Crested Butte and the ski area at Mt. Crested Butte (approximately 3 miles) from the crack of dawn to late in the night. You are unlikely to use this service if you’re staying at the San Moritz Condominiums during the winter (their own excellent free shuttle service pretty much covers it!) but the service runs every 15 minutes in the winter and every 20 minutes in the summer.

Getting Here by Car
Colorado Road Reports: 303-639-1111 or www.cotrip.org is the place to check conditions on the Monarch Pass, Highway 50 and Highway 135 in the winter and to get updates on summer seasonal passes such as Kebler and Cottonwood
From Denver
Take Interstate 70 west, exit to Highway 470 west, Highway 285 south to Fairplay then Poncha Springs, Highway 50 west to Gunnison.
From Montrose
Take Highway 50 east to Gunnison
From Gunnison to San Moritz Condos
From Highway 50 turn onto Highway 135 to Crested Butte.
Continue on Highway 135 through the town of Crested Butte and continue up the hill to Mt. Crested Butte (3 miles).
After the main sign for Mt. Crested Butte, take the 3rd right onto Hunter Hill Road.
Turn right almost immediately to pass in front of West Wall Lodge. The sign for San Moritz Condos will be on your left – the office is up the driveway in the Jokerville Building.
